Nuntio Links fully supports static and dynamic content localization. Every aspect of a link entry in the database can be localized so that you have completely translated link in your system for unlimited languages. You can also configure your Nuntio Links modules how to handle links that have not been translated, e.g. what fallback mode to use

 

Every link may be associated with unlimited categories (tags) . Those categories can be localized as well - the name of each category may have a localized entry for each enabled locale of your portal. Categories are organized in a hierarchical tree - allowing you to have a well organized category structure for each of your modules.

 

Starting with version 4.2.4 link editors can now have the system automatically generate site preview images and / or description texts from the linked target pages. Also a new scheduled task is now checking on a regular basis if links can be resolved. Maintaining links has never been easier!

 

Use Case Scenarios

  • Page Navigation - Present your visitors a list of links to a given tree in your portal. This can help showing a list of quickllinks on a page where the links should not appear in the menu navigation of the portal
  • Linklist - Present a list of helpful links. Thanks to the flexible templating engine there is no limit really in how you would like your links to be presented.
  • Download Archives - Present a list of downloadable files. Track who is cklicking the links and much more!
  • Graphical Links - associate images to your links and localize this option as well!
  • Track Links - Through the integrated link checker you can keep track of broken links that do not longer exist.

System Requirements

Nuntio Links has been developed for the DNN 4.9.5 platform. All versions from there are being supported, including the new DNN 5.x releases.

Note we currently do not support the Core Content Localization features in DNN 5.1. It may work in your scenario but we explicitely would like to encourage you to not usethis feature with our Nuntio suite.

MS Ajax must be deployed on the webserver.

All commercial Nuntio products use third party library from Telerik. We have taken all necessary actions to avoid conflicts with other vendor libraries in other third party modules.

In order to install Nuntio products you must be able to upload quite larges packages to your DotNetNuke. It may be necessary to configure your application to enable large file uploads. Read more about this here.
